The Brief
Eva and Xavier felt like they were living in little boxes. They wanted a functional, family home that they could entertain family and friends in that was warm and cosy. They had some definite inclusions which were: to honour the Mid-century period of the property, very keen on sustainability and Eva is from Sweden and so she wanted the home to reflect her Swedish heritage. The other thing that they were struggling with was that Eva liked neutral colours and Xavier was a fan of bold colour so whatever the design was, had to suit both preferences.

“Emma gave us everything we needed to work as a family, and even gave me a utility room! God-send!
I love the balanced use of colour and I never knew a yellow kitchen would be so perfect.”
