The Brief

The layout is disjointed and our breakfast bar is blocking access to our back garden, we also lack storage. We also want a new look that reflects our personality which is having prosecco with friends and although I want to honour the Victorian era of the home I want a vibrant, social space.

The Ingredients

  • Layout to offer easier circulation paths

  • Layout to give me more storage

  • Layout to work with existing constraints such as boiler and low windows on one wall

  • Jewel tones mixed with period features

  • Playful details

New vision for the space incoming….

I had a fantastic experience working with Emma on the design of my kitchen. She took the time to understand my style, needs, and how I wanted the space to work, then created a layout that was both practical and beautifully considered.

The advice on colours, finishes, and overall design choices was invaluable. They helped me see possibilities I hadn’t considered and guided me towards a colour scheme that perfectly suits the feel I want to achieve.

The whole process was professional, creative, and enjoyable. I really appreciated their attention to detail, thoughtful suggestions, and ability to bring my ideas together into a cohesive design. I would highly recommend The Interior Mixologist to anyone looking for expert kitchen design advice and inspiration
