The Brief

A playroom was needed for the masses of toys accumulated which was taking over the living room. Their snug room was an unused space in their home and unloved. The client was struggling with how dark it was there especially with the oppressive beams and wanted the children to have an engaging room to spark their imagination.

The Ingredients

  • Bold jungle / botanical wallpaper

  • Hot pink fireplace surround

  • Two-tone jewel green walls

  • Light floors that were scrubbable

“I told Emma I wanted something bright and fun that the kids would actually want to spend time in - and then I basically handed her the keys. The result blew me away. It’s bold and joyful without being babyish, and I know it’ll still feel right as they get older. The kids absolutely love it. Honestly, I’m a bit jealous it’s not my room”
